Errata

No published book is perfect. For one reason or another errors seep into the mix. One of the goals of this page will be to list the errors found in the book as they are uncovered by readers so that everyone knows where they problems are and so you won't be left scratching your head.

Location Error Correction Note
Back Cover Website spelled: hiddenelemenets.com It should be: hiddenelements.com Actually both will work, but the spelling on the cover is an error.
CD Read Me Password does not appear on page number 23. None; The password is 23 pages in from the front of the book. While I'd like to make a correction there, the actual page where the password appears does not have a page number. If you count in from the front of the book it is actually the 23rd page. The password is in the section of the introduction titled The Hidden Power Tools — the ninth page of the introduction.
Page 50, Step 4 Says to name the layer Luminosity. Name the layer Composite instead. The layers should end up looking as they do in the accompanying figure next to step 5.

Page 59, Steps 8-11

The numbered steps changed to bullets Number the bullets from 8 to 11 on Page 59 The issue here was probably as simple as that I numbered the text in my original and clicked the wrong formatting button.
Page 160, Figure 5.29 This is the wrong image [Please request file download: rl@ps6.com] A later correction and movement of images caused the sequence to get out of whack. Regretfully the right image for this Figure was omitted entirely.
Page 161, Figure 5.31 This is the wrong image See the image in Figure 5.29 Complication of the problem with figure 5.29
