Introduction Email address is wrong in the Going Further with Hidden Power section. rl@hiddenelements.com is not currently in service. Use rl@ps6.com ...of all things that could go wrong...a service I have used for 5+ years suddenly changed policy on email forwarding between completion of the book and printing. A solution is being sought. none

45 Step references are off Step 8 should reference Steps 6-7; Step 11 should reference Steps 9-10; Step 14 should reference Steps 12-13   none
48 Near the bottom of the page there is a reference to the Revert button. This should refer to the Reset button, not Revert   none
49 Diagram 2.6 refers to a Transparency Stop This should say "Opacity Stop"   none
56 Left the word 'as' in during editing in the following sentence: "In the image used for this example, as the separate..." Should read: "In the image used for this example, the separate..."   none
56 Step 11 refers to Gradient Map 1 should refer to Gradient Map 2 ...Gradient Map 1 should have been committed or merged in Step 1 -- only Gradient Map 2 is left to be renamed. none

85 Step 9 references figure 3.30. The step says to set the point at 73,0, and the figure shows 74,0. Both should read 73,0 for Elements 1 or 74,0 for Elements 2 ...The functionality was improved between versions, and this change was captured in the screen shot. The effect on the result should be minimal. none
88 Step 3 refers to duplicating a layer to a new image. This is actually covered later on pagge 131. Refer to figure 5.27 page 131 when completing step 3. ...reorganizing sometimes adds such flip-flopped references, aand that's what happened here. none
110 Step 5 has a 2 typos Should read: "Create a new Fill Layer and fill with gray (put 50% in B in the HSB fields; S and H should be 0%)..." ...originally the step just created another layer and filled -- the result was the same. none
