About the Forums Forums allow readers and users to build a community to help one another, and a centralized vault of knowledge. Forums are ideal for users of any level to ask questions, get answers, share experiences, and quickly research questions that have already been asked (using forum Search features). Newer users gain access to a broad source of knowledge by interacting with more experienced users, and more experienced users can share their knowledge by helping newer users or explore more advanced topics with other users at their level. You can check out the forums and just browse the discussions without participating (sometimes known as 'lurking'). Lurking does not require creation of a login. If you want to participate in the discussions by asking questions or providing answers and expertise, you can create a login and join in when you are ready. It is recommended that you include valid email information at registration so that you can receive notification of development in discussions where you participate. Hidden Power forums come in two types: a general Elements user forum for anyone who uses Photoshop Elements and forums specifically for those who use the books and add-on tools. The general forum is for Elements tips, and techniques; the book forums are specifically for clarification of techniques in the books. These forums allow Photoshop Elements users and those reading the Hidden Power books to have free, informal discussion about using Photoshop Elements and Hidden Power tools and techniques. Richard (the author of the Hidden Power books) frequents the forums and joins many of the discussions. You can visit the forums at any time, to browse or participate. The Hidden Power forums for the books are separated into areas based on the version of the book you are using. Currently there are the following Hidden Power forums: The Hidden Power of Photoshop Elements 3 Forums and The Hidden Power of Photoshop Elements 2 Forum. Both of these forums are graciously hosted on retouchpro.com. The general APEA Photoshop Elements Users Forum is hosted at elementsusers.com.
